During the day, Ukraine’s defense forces clashed with Russian forces 71 times. Russian forces carried out 31 missile strikes and 46 airstrikes. They also used multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 23 times to attack Ukrainian troop positions and civilian settlements.
There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, Russian aircraft hit the areas near the villages of Strilecha, Synelnykove and Vovchanski Khutory (Kharkov Oblast). More than 20 Ukrainian civilian settlements were targeted by Russian artillery and mortar fire, including Khrinivka and Leonivka (Chernihiv Oblast) and Myropilske, Nova Sloboda and Kliusy (Sumy Oblast).
Ukrainian forces repelled seven Russian assaults near Kyslivka (Kharkov Oblast) and Novoiehorivka and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast) on the Kupiansk front. Russian forces also used mortars and artillery to attack around 10 Ukrainian settlements, including Stepova Novoselevka and Pishchane (Kharkov Oblast).
On the Lyman front, the defense forces of Ukraine repelled 12 Russian assaults near the towns of Nevsky and Serebrianka forest (Luhansk Oblast) and Terny (Donetsk Oblast). Russian planes also hit areas near the towns of Terny and Yampolivka (Donetsk Oblast) and Serebrianka Forest (Luhansk Oblast). More than 10 civilian settlements, including Makiivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Terny, Yampolivka and Zarichne (Donetsk Oblast), were targeted by Russian artillery fire.
On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian forces repelled six Russian assaults near the towns of Spirne, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Novyi (Donetsk Oblast), where Russian forces tried to improve their tactical positions. Russian planes also hit areas near the towns of Chasiv Yar and Druzhba (Donetsk Oblast). More than 10 civilian settlements, including Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar and Klishchiivka (Donetsk Oblast), were targeted by Russian artillery fire.
Ukrainian forces repelled 24 Russian assaults near the towns of Novokalynove, Keramik, Umanske and Netailov (Donetsk Oblast) on the Avdiivka front, where Russian forces supported by aircraft tried to push Ukrainian forces from their positions. Russian forces also used aircraft to strike areas near the towns of Arkhanhelske, Novozhelanne and Karlivka (Donetsk Oblast). They used artillery and mortars to attack more than 10 civilian settlements, including Arkhanhelske, Sokil and Novopokrovske (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Novopavlivka front, Ukrainian defense forces continue to push back the Russians near the towns of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Vodiane and Paraskoviivka and west of Pobieda (Donetsk Oblast), where Russian forces supported by aircraft made 10 attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses. About 10 civilian settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka and Vuhledar (Donetsk Oblast), were targeted by Russian artillery fire.
On the Orikhiv front, Russian forces supported by aircraft attacked Ukrainian positions near the towns of Staromaiorske (Donetsk Oblast) and Robotyne (Zaporijjea Oblast) twice. About 20 civilian settlements, including Malynivka, Bilohiria, Robotyne and Piatykhatky (Zaporijjea Oblast), were targeted by Russian artillery fire.
On the Kherson front, Russian forces continued their efforts to push Ukrainian units from their positions on the left (east) bank of the Dnieper, but did not launch any assaults on Ukrainian positions today. Russian planes hit the areas near the towns of Krynky and Ivanivka (Kherson Oblast). About 20 civilian settlements, including Ivanivka, Novotiahynka, Veletenske and Kizomys (Kherson Oblast), were targeted by Russian artillery fire.
During today, Ukrainian planes carried out airstrikes on 16 groups of Russian military personnel. Air defense units of Ukraine intercepted a Kh-59 air-to-surface guided missile.
