A serious traffic accident took place a short time ago in the town of Salisca in the commune of Catcau. A young motorcyclist is in serious condition after colliding with a car. On top of that, about a month ago, the people of Salisca complained that the area has become a “paradise” for motorcyclists and “ATV-ists” who drive at speed and often without a permit, but they say that the Police ignored. And in this case, the 30-year-old does not have a driver’s license and the motorcycle was unregistered.
“Firefighters from the Dej Detachment intervened a few moments ago at a road accident that happened within the radius of Sălișca, Câțcau commune. A motorcycle and a van were involved in the accident, resulting in only one victim. More precisely, it is about the driver of the motorcycle who suffered multiple traumas. The young man, aged approximately 30 years, was found in a state of unconsciousness, being later intubated and mechanically ventilated by the SAJ crew. The man will be transported to the hospital for medical care,” the ISU CLUJ reported.

“On April 27 this year, around 4:30 p.m., a traffic accident was recorded on DC 2 in the town of Sălișca in the commune of Câțcau. From the first investigations carried out on the spot, it emerged that a 30-year-old man from the Cășeiu commune, who was driving an unregistered motorcycle, allegedly lost control over the direction of travel, later colliding with a van that was parked on the edge of the part
roadways. As a result of the event, the man suffered serious injuries and was urgently transported to the hospital, unable to be tested with the breathalyzer. At the same time, the police found that he did not have a driver’s license. In the case, investigations are being carried out under the aspect of the crimes of driving a vehicle without a driver’s license, putting into circulation or driving an unregistered vehicle and bodily injury due to negligence”, reports Ipj Cluj.
