Horia Constantinescu, the PSD candidate for Constanța City Hall, and the candidates for the Constanța Municipal Council submitted their candidacies for the June 9, 2024 local elections at the Municipal Electoral Office on Friday.
Regarding the list of local municipal councillors, it is opened by Costin Răsăuțeanu, the leader of PSD Constanța councillors, followed by Dede Perodin, Claudia Dobre, Cristina Roman, Daniel Tudor, Cristian Mihăilescu, George Naceades, Nicolae Lascu, Irinela Nicolae, Roxana Dobrescu, Liviu Merdinian, Daniel Darea, George Silvian Mișa, Cristina Papazian, Paula Luca, Petru Boloș, Nicoleta Strungaru, Diana Tănase, Mioara Burlacu, George Cartali and 16 other social democrats from Constanta. . In this context, the president of the PSD Constanța Municipal Organization, Ion Dumitrache, said that on the list of councilors there are 30% seniors, 30% young people and 30% ladies.
Horia Constantinescu: I followed which foot to enter the room, I entered with the right foot. I’m going to this race with the first chance, so I wouldn’t have accepted. I am also not on the list of local councilors because, in life, I have always played the first card, which is the winning one. I don’t know if any of those present have experienced the sensation of the Oscars, but I am living right now in the fact that I have been nominated so far. As of today, I am officially the candidate of the Social Democratic Party for the position of mayor of Constanța. I want to discuss the fact that several variants of local public administration and local public governance have been presented to the people of Constanta so far. I come to show that what I propose, something that can be implemented.
Upon entering the Municipal Electoral Office, Horia Constantinescu wanted to offer a bouquet of flowers to the president of BEM, but she said that she was not allowed to receive them, at which point Horia Constantinescu shook them well and said that she did not find nothing but flowers.
“Today I applied for a new mandate as a local municipal councilor! I am determined to continue working for the city where I was born, grew up and live. With me were also the colleagues with whom I will work together during four years, for the Constanta community. We want to carry out important projects in the field of infrastructure, health and tourism. Thank you for your trust!” , said Costin Răsăuţeanu.
