A road worker died crushed by a truck on a national road in Dolj. Surveillance cameras capture the moment the truck hits the workers’ car on the road, even though there was a warning that there was work there.
The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon, on DN6, in the town of Răcarii de Sus, Dolj county.
A truck hit the car of the respective workers, and unfortunately, one person died.

The driver who was in the car next to the one who died in the impact was urgently transported to the hospital. Traffic on DN6 was blocked in the area where the tragedy occurred.
“According to IPJ Dolj, a 68-year-old man, a Bulgarian citizen, while driving a TIR on DN 6, in the town of Răcarii de Sus, for reasons to be determined following the investigations, entered into a front-rear collision with a van that he designed into two people, a 45-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man, who were carrying out road maintenance work on lane 1.
As a result of the impact, one person died and the other was injured.
The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative.
The police are investigating to establish all the circumstances in which the accident took place, and a criminal file has been drawn up under the aspect of committing the crimes of manslaughter and culpable bodily harm,” the police report, notes Mediafax.
