GOLD is depleting by the day. More than 400 members of the branch from the city of Nehoiu, Buzău county, went to PNL Buzău. The announcement was made by Anton Băcescu, AUR Nehoiu coordinator.

They were dissatisfied with the fact that the organization from Nehoiu was not represented on the list of county councilors for the June 9 elections.
“I am bringing you a message that I did not expect to send you, but today, following the meeting of the local political bureau, I decided to leave the AUR party together with the team. After 3 years of work, sustained political activity, hundreds of members registered in the organization and nothing to reproach our team with, the management of the county organization of AUR Buzau has turned its back on us.
From any point of view, especially meritocratic, our organization deserved at least two eligible places on the list of candidates for the County Council, places that were initially promised by the county leadership of AUR Buzău, later, in the list of candidates for the CJ, the Nehoiu organization not having not even a representative. Also, the Buzău AUR county management put pressure on the Nehoiu AUR management, regarding the preparation of the list of candidates for the local council, imposing people and hierarchies on us”, announced Anton Băcescu.
Anton Băcescu and his team chose to join PNL Buzău, Băcescu being designated as PNL’s candidate for the post of mayor of Nehoiu.
“Because of the way we were treated at this moment, I conclude that I could not have carried out my program and projects for Nehoiu and Nehoieni. I do not regret the work, and the fruit of the work is reflected in a strong team that I have built, with which I remain.
I trust that the more than 400 members of AUR Nehoiu will understand the decision I made and I rely on their support in my future political projects,” Anton Băcescu wrote on social media.
