Serious accident, with seven victims, in Deva. Traffic on DN7, blocked

Seven men between the ages of 26 and 56 were injured in a road accident that took place on Tuesday evening at the entrance to Deva, after the minibus they were in hit a parapet that separates the directions of travel. Traffic on DN 7 and on the climb from DN 76 to DN 7 was blocked.

“Seven people were injured following a serious traffic accident this evening at the entrance to the municipality of Deva, on the road from Arad. A minibus traveling from Mintia to Deva entered the parapet that separates the directions of travel,” ISU Hunedoara reported.

The military firefighters of the Deva Detachment intervened with 3 special vehicles and 2 SMURD ambulances, and 2 crews of the County Ambulance Service were also on the scene.

“The rescuers extracted the 7 victims, all of whom were in the minibus involved in the accident”, stated ISU Hunedoara.

Three of the injured were taken to Hunedoara and four to Deva.

The injured persons are men between the ages of 26 and 56.

The police opened an investigation following this accident.

“Today, around 7:30 p.m., 7 people were injured as a result of a traffic accident occurring at the entrance to the municipality of Deva, on the direction of travel from Arad. From the first investigations, the police established that a minibus traveling from Mintia to Deva hit the parapet that separates the directions of travel. The 7 injured (including the minibus driver) were transported to UPU Deva, respectively UPU Hunedoara. Biological samples will be taken from the driver at the hospital”, IPJ Hunedoara reported.

Traffic on DN 7 is blocked in the Arad-Deva direction, and the climb from DN 76 to DN 7 is also blocked.
