During a recent “Let’s be clear” podcast she stated: “I’m a fighter and I believe in science and I believe that something good will come and maybe extend my life.”

Trying to stay upbeat, Shannen said she’s still sorting through her things to be prepared in case the disease takes her life.

“My main priority now is my mother. I know it will be hard for her if I die before her. Just because I know it’s going to be hard for him, I want to make things easier in other ways and I need to make some preparations for when I’m gone. I don’t want her to deal with my 4 warehouses full of furniture too,” Shannen added.
