The family of a woman who has been missing for more than 24 hours is concerned for her welfare.

Angela Keenan has been reported missing from Lenzie and was last seen in the Laxton Drive area of ​​the town around 7am on Tuesday, April 2.

The 58-year-old is believed to be traveling in a black Kia Venga, with registration SD63 VLL.

Angela’s daughter appealed on social media for members of the public visiting walking destinations such as Ben A’an, Falls of Falloch, Conic Hill to “look for a car that seems out of place”.

Angela is described as white, slim build, 5ft 4ins, with blonde hair usually tied back in a ponytail.

She is thought to be wearing a black puffer jacket, black jeans, gray bootleg slippers and silver bangles on her right wrist.

Inspector Michael Booker of Police Scotland said: “Along with her family, we are concerned for Angela’s well-being and are appealing for anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the police as soon as possible.

“Please call 101quoting reference 2258 of April 2, 2024.”
