The general strike started by the Romanian Post Office ends today: Higher salaries, from June 1 – Bistriteanul

The salary increase is between 350 and 370 lei net and will be granted in two installments: from June 1 and from September 1

“After intense hours of negotiations, we are getting closer to the solution that will lead to the closure of the Romanian Post protest!

I’m interested in the more than 21,000 postal employees having income predictability and higher wages! I also care that all people who are waiting for pensions or social benefits receive them on time“, Minister Bogdan Ivan sent yesterday evening.

The Ministry of Research and Digitization is the majority representative in the company, and Bogdan Ivan assured that the postmen will receive their pensions on time.

“A salary increase that is somewhat closer to what the union requested was established by mutual agreement“, emphasized Bogdan Ivan. He added that this morning, first thing in the morning, the negotiated collective labor contract should be registered at the ITM. At that moment, the labor conflict is considered closed. That’s when the activity at the Romanian Post National Company will also resume – explained Bogdan Ivan.
