The Iesa court is in mourning. Recently retired, former judge Mirela Anton died on Tuesday, at only 54 years old. “She was not sick. It was simply an accident. From what I understand, he fell down the stairs in the house. She managed to call her husband, but in a quarter of an hour it was over”, said a former colleague of the magistrate.

Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University “Al.I. Cuza” in 1995, Mirela Anton worked at the beginning of her career in the Tecuci and Paşcani courts. He graduated at the Iaşi Court in June 2000. He also retired from this court on December 1, 2022. Together with his husband, a surgeon at the Children’s Hospital “St. Maria”, they had a child. The funeral will take place on Saturday.

And the Superior Council of the Magistracy published the following statement on Wednesday: “The Superior Council of the Magistracy expresses its deep regret for the death of Mrs. Mirela Anton, former judge in the Iasi Court, and sends sincere condolences to the bereaved family. God rest her!”
