The case of a two-year-old boy named Bilal Yusra from Malaysia has shocked, saddened and outraged the internet in equal measure. The little boy who suffers from an extremely rare condition, with a minimal chance of survival, is being exhibited by his father on TikTok, where he is waiting for donations from people. This is not seen with good eyes by everyone!

Bilal Yusra, a 2-year-old boy, diagnosed with an extremely rare disease

The baby whose head is getting bigger, likened by many to a baby alien, would not naturally have survived more than 5 days after birth. The boy is already two years old and continues to fight, with his small powers, to live… Although everyone sees him as a monster…

The little boy was diagnosed with alobar holoprosencephaly, a rare condition described as a congenital malformation that usually occurs in the first weeks of intrauterine life.

The little one’s head ended up weighing 28 kilograms, and on top of that, Bilal can’t see and has had heart problems, according to Malaysian news site Harian Metro.

The case became popular on TikTok

As I was telling you, the case became visible on social media platforms. On TikTok, Muhammad, the boy’s father, makes live videos with the little one almost daily, drawing criticism as well as sympathy.

Many say it’s unfair to use the little guy to get money from tiktokers, given that Bilal is in the final stages of the disease and theoretically doesn’t have long to live.

Others side with Bilal Yusra’s father, believing that perhaps he is hoping to raise money for an operation, even though any surgery would have zero chance.

Muhammad and his wife tried to earn money by opting for several jobs, but were unable to raise the necessary sums to prolong the little one’s life. Bilal’s medical expenses cost around 2,850 Malaysian ringgit (equivalent to 3,000 lei). In addition to this, they also have to provide for house rent, utilities and food.
