Nothing has recently become so big that it has created its own sub-brand, CMF. Like realme for OPPO, like Redmi or POCO for Xiaomi. Well, after CMF launched more accessories, now they are also starting super affordable phones.
So far CMF has only released gadgets such as smartwatches or headphones. Now it is ready to enter the smartphone market, with a model that would arrive in stores as early as 2024. Its name? CMF Phone (1), and the terminal would be an accessible entry level one. It will have a plastic body and you can see it in the sketch above. It will be available in 3 shades: black, white and orange.
To begin with, it will be available in India at a price of 140 dollars, i.e. 648 lei. Nothing Phone (2a) is around 1500-1600 lei here, so it’s clearly a different price level. The newcomer from CMF brings a 6.5-inch screen, probably with Gorilla Glass protection. Rumors say it will have a single rear camera, hopefully a 50-megapixel one.
The sources say that the terminal would arrive with a MediaTek Dimensity 5G processor, but also with a large 5000 mAh battery, which charges at 33W. CMF Phone (1) might ship with Nothing OS, but without the special features. It will also have 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
