Apple announced Solo Buds headphones at a very good price; Beats Solo 4 debuts with Spatial Audio, generous battery life

As promised, Apple today unveiled the newest products in the Beats range. It’s about the headphones Beats Solo Budswith the lowest price so far, but also about Beats Solo 4, over-ear headphones with Spatial Audio and 50 hours of autonomy.

Beats Solo Buds

Beats Solo Buds they cost 80 euros and are very portable in-ear headphones. They are 40% smaller than Beats Studio Buds Plus. They have 4 sizes of plugs, from XS up. It looks like Studio Buds Plus, only more mignon, more rounded and… nicer. What’s strange is that their case is only for transport and protection, it doesn’t have a battery included.

So we get 15 hours of autonomy from the headphones themselves, which is not bad at all. It’s like the Sony WF-C700N, which offers 7.5 hours from the headphones and another 7.5 hours from the case. The Beats Solo Buds don’t have active noise cancellation or Spatial Audio. However, they have some smart functions, such as fast pairing and auto switching between Apple devices, Android terminals, Chromebooks and others.

There is also Find My support on both platforms. Plus Audio Sharing for other Apple devices. The product will arrive on June 6, 2024, in shades of black, gray, purple and transparent red.

Beats Solo 4

Beats Solo 4 headphones they are over-ear and come as a successor to the Beats Solo 3 Wireless model. It costs around 200 euros and focuses on comfort. They have well-padded ear cushions and weigh only 217 grams, less than the Sony WH-1000XM5 and its 250 grams for example. Integrates 40mm drivers, Personalized Spatial Audio support.

It also offers a USB-C connection for hi-res lossless acoustics, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack and Bluetooth. It supports fast pairing, but also auto switching for Apple and Android terminals, as well as FInd My. They don’t have active noise cancellation, unfortunately. The good part is that they have super autonomy, up to 50 hours.
