Apple is preparing the launch of new iPad Pro tablets with M4 processors and OLED screens

--

Apple is preparing to launch the new generation of iPad Pro tablets at the event scheduled for May 7. According to reliable sources, including the famous journalist Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the new models could be equipped with M4 processors, skipping the M3 generation.

M4 processors, the release of which was originally planned for new Mac computer models only at the end of this year or even in 2025, could be present on the new iPad Pro tablets. This would position the new devices as “the first truly AI-powered Apple devices,” according to Gurman.

Another major innovation brought by the new iPad Pro is represented by OLED screens, used for the first time on an Apple tablet. This will allow for the thinnest iPad models to date.

At the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, Apple will focus on how the M4 processors and new iPad Pro tablets will take advantage of the artificial intelligence software and services that will be included in iPadOS 18, the operating system that will be released in the fall of this year.

It remains to be seen whether these innovations will be enough to boost sales of the company’s premium tablets in an increasingly competitive market. However, loyal users of Apple products are looking forward to discovering how the new iPad Pros will revolutionize the tablet experience.
