Exclusive photos, “leaked” on the Internet, of the upcoming vivo X100s have started to appear. Some time ago, it appeared that vivo would go for a flatter design and ditch the curved styling of the X100, and the leaked photos seem to confirm this. The source cited below also suggests that the launch of the X100s, X100s Pro and X100s Ultra trio is slated for May.
The X100s features a flat chassis with a slightly curved (2.5D) glass back. The camera island has a jagged ring and four sensors. The assembly appears to be unchanged from the X100, and includes a 15-70mm lens with a 15mm ultrawide, a 70mm periscope and a 50MP main camera with f/1.6.
Vivo adopted the iPhone 15 Pro design for the X100s. It has a flat-edge screen and a similar color scheme, but is significantly thinner at 7.89mm (versus the iPhone’s 8.3mm).
Most likely, it will be available in colors like white, black, cyan and titanium. Vivo is also likely to announce the X100s model with the Dimensity 9300+ chip with higher frequencies (3.4 GHz). The vivo X100 model was marketed starting at a price of $550, and the price for the X100s will be roughly the same.
The vivo X100 was initially only available in China, but was launched globally in late 2023, so we expect the X100s to follow suit.
