The Samsung Galaxy A55 comes with the same 5000 mAh battery seen on both the A54 and A53, but also with the same 25W maximum charging standard, which seems to be a thing of the past. If the efficiency of the new Exynos 1480 processor from the inside is felt, we will find out thanks to the tests carried out below. By the way, there is no adapter in the box, only a power/data transfer cable.

Test – Video playback

  • 45.Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max21h 32m
  • 46.realme 9 Pro+21h 31m

We start with the test of video playbackwhere I touched fixed 22 hours, a good result, which places us 38th in the All-Time Mobilissimo rankings. This means that we are above Honor 90, vivo X60 Pro, OnePlus 11, and even above Xiaomi 13 Pro. The autonomy boost is about 2 hours compared to the predecessor A54 which stopped at 20h 12m. Thanks for this chapter!

Test made using PCMark for Android. It measures the maximum duration of an uninterrupted session of phone use, under conditions that replicate human behavior. The brightness of the screen is set to 200 LUX, and the phone performs web browsing, plays video, copies files and edits photos.

How about continuous usehere we are not so well, with 14h 57m and a 68th place in the top. Better result than Honor Magic6 Pro though which sounds spectacular and we are also above vivo X80 Lite. The Galaxy A54 in comparison obtained 12h51m and the upgrade in this chapter should also be appreciated.
