Chaos in Mititelu’s Craiova. The goalkeeper accused his colleagues of not giving everything: “God help some of them wake up”

On Monday, the UTA Arad team defeated the FCU Craiova team 3-1 at home, in the eighth stage of the Superliga play-out.

UTA Arad prevailed 3-1 after leading 3-0. Luckassen opened the scoring in the 6th minute, Rares Pop made it 2-0 in the 31st minute, and Joao Pedro scored for 3-0 in the 67th minute.

Ibrahimi reduced the difference in the 87th minute.

Craiova is last in the Superliga and must beat Hermannstadt at home to hope for relegation.

At the end of the game in Arad, goalkeeper Ionuț Gurău accused his colleagues of not giving everything on the field:

“It was a black evening for me and the whole team. From me to the last player and all the staff. You also saw, football is played on goals. I felt in any situation that I would score a goal.

My full-backs were attacking, we were pathetic. We were only defending with the central defenders, I felt that I could score at every opportunity, it could have been 4-0 at half-time, luckily we scored. That’s it, we’ll see what happens.

Football is not about talent and individuality, I’m sure it’s played as a team, let’s shoot for each other. I give an example from this match, the opposing team escapes one on one with me, passes in front of the goal, scores a goal. We do the same, we miss.

I can’t stay in the goal any more, I think my tension is 200 every match, I want to go out of the goal and head myself. I even talked to them at the beginning that the match should be seen as a final, but it seems they didn’t understand. God help some of them wake up and play a good match at home”, said Gurău.
