The Spanish team FC Barcelona defeated Valencia CF on Monday night, at home, score 4-2, in a match of the 33rd stage of La Liga. Lewandowski scored a hat-trick.
The Catalans scored first, through Fermin Lopez, in the 22nd minute, but the guests quickly equalized, in the 27th minute, through Hugo Duro, and in the 38th minute they took the lead after Pepelu converted a penalty awarded for the foul committed by Ronald in the box Araujo to Peter Gonzalez. However, the guests were down to ten players after goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili was sent off in the 45th + 4th minute. Xavi’s students equalized in the 49th minute, when Ilkay Gundogan crossed and Lewandowski scored with a header.
The Polish striker also scored the goals that brought victory to the Catalans, in the 82nd minute, and from an impeccably executed free kick, in the 90th+3rd minute.
Lewandowski scored his first hat-trick in La Liga and reached 15 seasonal goals. Barcelona prevailed 4-2, which is on the 2nd place in the ranking, with 73 points. Valencia has 47 points and occupies the 8th position.
