FCSB responded firmly after CFR Cluj showed interest in one of its players.
Transylvania want Risto Radunovic, a player who enters the last 6 months of his contract in the summer.
However, FCSB said that there is no question of Radunovic leaving the team at least until the winter.
“Radunovic did not enter the last 6 months of the contract. We are in discussions with him. I will even start discussions with his agent. I don’t know if we will succeed. I know that until the winter he is ours and there is no way he can leave under any circumstances form I find it hard to believe that anyone will pay a large sum for the transfer of a 32-year-old left-back who is free in the winter.
And what if he signs with CFR Cluj? Play with us. He is not from Balgrad, there is no problem. At Risto there is no such risk, never! He has too beautiful a character. I hope he stays because he is extremely important for us in the dressing room. It’s a very strong voice. Risto Radunovic transferred to FCSB at the beginning of 2021, being bought from Astra for 400 thousand euros.
Since then, he has become the holder of the left back position in the red-blue grouping.
In the current season, Radunovic played 33 games and scored one goal and three assists.
