The Romanian from Real Madrid was called up to the Spanish national team. Why doesn’t he play for the Romanian national team?

No less than three young Romanian footballers were called up to the Spanish Under 15 national team this season: Raul Andrei Perțea from Real Madrid, Ares Căpățănă from CD Leganes, the leader of the Segunda Division, and Ioan Robert Precup from Villareal and the satellite Roda CD.

Raul Perțea chose the Spanish national team after his parents realized that the Romanian national team did not offer him favorable conditions.

“I saw that many give their opinion and now throw dirty words at a 14-year-old child who has no fault. Raul was the only one in the family who wanted to play for Romania!

He was called up, he played for Romania, but there were some unacceptable situations for the club, some unfavorable conditions for which Real Madrid could not agree: for example, a 15-hour layover for Raul in an airport .

He was really disappointed when the club didn’t let him come to Romania, but he was also disappointed when he didn’t receive the call-up to the Under 16 national team that played last fall right here, with Spain (no – friendly double from October 2023, 3-0 and 1-0 for the Iberians).

Because Raul (no – Under 15 in the current season) plays in the upper age category, Under 16, and for Real Madrid, and for the representative of the region, where they are qualified in the semi-finals of the championship.

In addition, we, as parents, had to fend for ourselves when we went for Raul to the Romanian national team. Of course, it’s not such a big problem, we do everything for the children, but the Spanish federation always covers the expenses for the parents, we’re talking about transport, hotel, etc. Maybe things will change for us too…
