Romario Benzar (32 years old) he left the field in an ambulance and was rushed to hospital after being hit in the head by Hakim Abdallah during the match FC Botoșani – Dinamo, score 2-1.

Doctors put a bandage on Benzar’s head and a cervical collar in the first phase, and luckily he is out of any danger. Even so, the image with the terrible wound of the footballer from Botoșani is one with strong emotional impact.

The day after the unfortunate events, Romario Benzar also offered the first reactions regarding that incident. The right defender of FC Botoșani revealed, among other things, that he received a message of support from Luca Mihai, the footballer of Poli Iași who he was also seriously injured two stages ago, also in a game with Dinamo.

Luca Mihai was hit very hard on the head by Homawoo in Dinamo – Poli Iași, and the father of the footballer on loan from CFR Cluj revealed that he has hearing and sight impairments.

“I was most impressed by the message from Luca Mihai. He encouraged me, gave me confidence. It was emotional because we didn’t know each other personally. We never interacted outside of matches. But he probably felt the need to give me a message after what happened to him with Dinamo. Even worse! I thank him very much and wish him health!”, said Romario Benzar, according to Sport pe Surse.
