Suspended on Monday by the Disciplinary Commission of the Romanian Football Federation, for the statements made to the referee Cristina Trandafir, George Becali, the FCSB boss, had a first reaction.
The businessman is upset that he cannot express his point of view, which he does not give up. It is his belief, women with women, men with men!
Women have no business refereeing men’s sports competitions, Becali reiterated on the Fanatik Superliga show.
“You’re not allowed to have an opinion?”
“They can give a billion (no – fine), give what they want. What God has done will remain so, I will say so with the price of my life. Well, do women walk among men at football? They have a dark mind, that’s my opinion.”
“You judge a man’s opinion. But that’s what Christ said. The current is the current of the devils, that the world has gone mad. That doesn’t mean I can’t speak my mind. I said my opinion. I’m not offending anything. Do they condemn feelings? Who are they? People are like a leaf in the wind. I don’t even know where to get it. You’re not allowed to have an opinion? Do I have to have your opinion or else I judge you?”
“Well, it’s an opinion, not an insult, an offense. I do not understand. You have a different mentality, a different way of life. But when I see the woman running among the men… How can this be? God Save us! What do you mean the woman sits with her breasts in the wind and runs past the men? What is this mixture? For what? Are there not enough men? Why doesn’t the woman go to the women to arbitrate and the men to the men? Isn’t that better?”
“The diabolical world political majority wants to confuse woman with man. You haven’t seen the fashion, the woman wears pants and the man starts wearing a dress. By all means they want to give more power to women and to despise men. They are diabolical mentalities”.
After several postponements, the owner of the FCSB was banned for 6 months from carrying out any football-related activities, but also three fines on his name (two of 10,000 lei plus one of 50,000 lei, of which only the From behind). In addition, the team also received a financial sanction of 5,000 lei.
The decision was taken at the April 1 meeting and posted on the FRF website. Becali was complained about by the general secretary of the FRF Radu Vișan, shortly after the match FCSB – FC Botoșani, score 3-2where Trandafir was in the VAR room.
