Patrick Mouratoglou, the former coach of Simona Halep and the current technician of the Dane Holger Rune, posted on social networks an image that leaves room for speculation.

Thus, in Monte Carlo, where they are preparing for the Masters that will start on April 7, Mouratoglou and Rune took pictures with the world leader Novak Djokovic, after a joint training session.

Given that Djokovic recently parted ways with coach Goran Ivanisevic, with whom he has collaborated since 2018, the presence of the Serbian around Mouratoglou leaves room for question marks regarding a future collaboration.

“As far as looking for a new coach, I don’t have a specific idea and I don’t know if there will be one. I’ve always had coaches by my side since I was young. I’m trying to think about what might be good for me.” said Djokovic.

At 36, the Serbian player had a mediocre start to the 2024 season by his lofty standards, losing in the semi-finals at the Australian Open to Italy’s Jannik Sinner, who went on to lift the trophy.

“Nole” was then eliminated in the third round at Indian Wells by another Italian, Luca Nardi (ranked 96th ATP), which prompted him to withdraw from the Masters 1,000 tournament in Miami to take care of himself.
