CFR Cluj, torment in Gruia with two more people

It was a “crazy” first half in Gruia. Transylvania quickly opened the scoring, in the 6th minute, through Muhar. But the Transylvanian advantage did not last long.

Marcel Bîrsan awarded a penalty for Sepsi, and Alimi converted in the 20th minute. After the goal, a real nightmare followed for Covasneni, who received two red cards.

First Oroian, in the 21st minute, received the second yellow card. Then in overtime, Florin Ștefan was eliminated directly, after a tough entry.

In the second half, with two extra men, the Transylvanians hit the crossbar twice. The winning goal was scored by Muhar, who scored the “double” in 90+6.

Following this result, CFR Cluj climbed to 2nd place in the play-off, with 37 points. Sepsi remains in 6th place, with 28 points.

After six stages played, CFR Cluj is in fourth place in the play-off, with 34 points, but only one length behind Farului, in second place, which also has one more game to play.

On the other hand, Sepsi is in sixth position, with 28 points accumulated in the six matches played.
