The extreme phenomenon was visible throughout the Capital: Saharan dust was deposited everywhere after the rains. Trees, flowers, park benches and cars were covered in dust. Drivers could not go on the road without washing the windows.

And in Tulcea, the colored dust settled in a thick layer on all the cars. And in Iași, everything was covered with dust, as well as in Constanța.

Images of dusty cars filled social networks. People from Bucharest, Tulcea, Constanta, Ialomiţa, Brăila, but also from other areas of the country posted photos.

Opinions in the online environment are divided regarding the phenomenon.

“With the amount of dust deposited in the whole country, all the Saharan sand should have been finished,” one person wrote.

“The car got chicken pox after the rain. I have burning nostrils every 3 days for two years now. It is hard to understand and in vain. I entered the sign of dementia for several years, he gave himself free to save the planet of people. One-two, Saharan dust,” commented another.

“Certainly the car washes won today. We missed the trend of rain with Saharan dust,” another woman wrote.

Dust deposits can be observed in the areas and in the intervals in which it will rain.

In the afternoon of Wednesday, the air mass loaded with Saharan dust particles will move to the northeast and away from Romania.
