On April 24 this year, at around 6:30 p.m., the police officers from the Ștefan cel Mare Rural Police Department, while exercising their duties, were alerted to the fact that, in the town of Boțești, a road accident, resulting only in material damage. The police identified the person in question, a 51-year-old man, who exuded alcoholic breath. On the 24th of April this year, at around 18:40, the police officers from the Piatra-Neamț Road Bureau, while carrying out surveillance and traffic control activities on Bistriței street, in Piatra Neamț, stopped for control a car that was traveling in the direction of Bacău towards Bicaz. The 45-year-old driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result indicating a concentration of 1.09 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. On the same date, around 8:30 a.m., while the policemen from the Târgu-Neamț Road Squad were performing their duties, on Ștefan cel Mare boulevard, they stopped a car, driven by a 43-year-old man. Since he exuded alcoholic breath, he was tested with the breathalyzer, the result indicating a value of 0.47 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. In the case, a criminal case was drawn up for the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol.
