Vrancea: Several people threw stones at a launch point of anti-hail missiles Romania

Three days ago, in Vrancea county, a group of disgruntled people threw stones at one of the anti-hail rocket launch points in Bordesca Veche, Tătăranu commune.

The people damaged two personnel vehicles, and by their action caused the scheduled rocket firing to stop that day.

A criminal case for destruction is being worked on following the incident on Tuesday afternoon, according to Paula Enache, spokesperson for the Vrancea County Police Inspectorate.

On May 7, this year, around 4:20 p.m., the dispatcher of the Vrancea County Police Inspectorate was alerted to the fact that, in the town of Bordesca Veche, at the headquarters of the anti-hail missile launch point, several people would have gathered in protest to prevent their release.

Police crews from the 6th Rural Police Department were sent to the scene, and the conflict was resolved shortly after.

At the same time, the police found out that unknown persons had damaged two cars that were in the area, causing a damage of approximately 1,000 lei.

The research in this case is continued within a criminal file, under the aspect of committing the crime of destruction.

The intervention targeted a hail formation from several clouds and involved the launch of several rockets, the second such action this season, which began on April 15.
