The National Meteorological Administration issued the weather forecast for the period May 6 – June 3, 2024.
According to forecasters, temperatures will be higher than usual for this period throughout the forecast weeks. Instead, the rains will make their presence felt until the middle of the month.
Weather forecasts for four weeks are made by ECMWF – European Center for Long-Range Forecasts. The weekly average deviations of air temperature and precipitation amounts from the average of the period 2004-2023 are estimated.
Extreme phenomena with a short duration of manifestation cannot be predicted with the help of this product.
Weather forecast for the week of 06.05.2024 – 13.05.2024
The thermal values will be slightly above the multi-year averages in the western regions, while in the rest of the territory they will be close to the normal ones for this period.
Precipitation amounts will be excess in the west, southwest and locally in the center of the country and deficit in the rest.
Weather forecast for the week of 13.05.2024 – 20.05.2024
Average temperatures will be slightly above normal for this period across most of the country.
The rainfall regime will be surplus in the northwestern regions, deficient in the southern regions and close to normal in the rest.
Weather forecast for the week of 20/05/2024 – 27/05/2024
The average air temperature will be slightly higher than normal for this period in most regions.
Rainfall amounts will generally be close to normal for this period in most regions.
Weather forecast for the week of 27.05.2024 – 03.06.2024
Average thermal values will be slightly above the climatological norms of the period.
Rainfall will generally be close to normal for this range in all regions.
