After the mini-holiday of May 1st and Easter, the Galați branch of the Romanian Electricity Distribution Company (DEER) resumes, on Wednesday, May 8th, the works on the electricity networks in the municipality. These require power outages for some customers, lasting up to four hours, starting at 8:00 or 11:00, depending on the area.

Thus, on Wednesday, institutions, companies and household consumers on Vasile Alecsandri streets (between Domnească and Mihai Bravu, Like Garden Pub, Restaurant Peștele Mustăcios, Brutăria Domnească), Mihai Bravu (between V. Alecsandri and Vultur, CJAS) will be temporarily without electricity , the former headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce and the Theological Seminary, the Pushkin Hall, the Faculty of Dental Medicine, the “Nae Leonard” Theatre, Science (Metrology), Afinului (Wash Laundromat, Aluminum Group, printing house), Domnească (between Cezar and Afinului, the Center multifunctional social services, ACE After School, College of Food Industry, Rompetrol, Echotaxi, post office, complex).

Also on Wednesday, there will be interruptions on Alexandru Davila Avenue (CFR Călători and CFR Triage buildings) and on Basarabiei Street (Dunărea de Jos University).

There will be power outages in the county as well, lasting up to six hours, in the villages of Ciureștii Vechi (Bălășești commune), Brătulești and Blânzi (Corod) and Matca.
