We have the names of over 100 candidates for the Campulung Local Council. New games and many surprises!

In 2020, the participation in the elections held in a complicated year, due to the Pandemic, with voting moved from June to September, was more consistent than now, with 10 aspirants for the position of mayor and 193 for a mandate of local councillor.

Compared to four years ago, the number of those who want to lead the City Hall decreased, and the number of parties participating in the electoral process also decreased. In 2020, they entered the tests
electorate 11 parties and one independent.

We have the names of over 100 candidates for the Campulung Local Council. New games and many surprises!

In 2024, we have 7 parties and an independent on the participation list. Therefore, the interest in the involvement in the life of the community decreases, through the decisions taken in the legislative forum of the Câmpulung municipality.

Two of those removed from the PNL Campulung Bogdan David and Lonel State, turned to the PSD, respectively the United Right Alliance, not being compatible with the reckless style of the president in terms of expelling the majority who could bring him votes.

Also linked to the PNL, the former vice mayor Nicolae Zaharia has cured (or was cured) of politics, not being found on any list of candidates.

Regarding resignations, as a result of decisions taken within the parties, we mention the current councilors Dan Belu and lulian Zanvetor, from USR, Marin Stanciu, Cornel Băjan and Mirabela Manea, from PSD, and the Free People’s Party, which no longer has candidates for the 2024 elections.

Among the 106 candidates for the Local Council, 40 are women: 11 – AUR; 10 – The Right Alliance
United; 9 – PNL; 6 – PSD; 3 – AD and an independent.
