Starting from an initial core of 6 workers and a turnover of 3.6 million lei, Valentin Resmerita demonstrated remarkable determination and an innate talent for business.

By means of his seventh sense in the field, he managed to gradually expand his operations, ending up operating outside the country’s borders, with the first targets being those in the ex-Soviet space.

From a net profit of approximately 145,000 lei recorded in 2000, at its beginnings, at the end of 2021, Metale Internazionale recorded a net profit of 18 million lei. It is impressive to see this development in a relatively short period of time.

“We succeeded and made people loyal, especially the older ones. Some of them have been working in the company since its foundation, that is, for over 20 years. As a rule, those over 45 are looking for stability. They don’t want to leave anymore. They no longer want to move from one job to another and a perfect tradesman is after the age of 45. I think this is actually our luck. That we have to work with specialists. That’s why I don’t have very big problems with the migration of the labor force”, confessed businessman Valentin Resmeriță in an interview.

This business, which started modestly, has now become a reference point for entrepreneurial efficiency in Focșani.
