Workers have been working since May 1 to finish Viitorului street on time. The asphalting of the section between Târgu Fânului street and Moara de Scoarță street has begun, which should be completed by the beginning of June.
If most Romanians celebrate May 1 by firing up the grills, in Sibiu, workers have begun paving Viitorului street, the link between the Gușterita, Reșita neighborhoods and the city center. The builder Geiger Transilvania SRL has already laid out the new public lighting networks and the sidewalks are to be laid out.
We remind you that these works will optimize the connection between the neighborhoods of Gușterita, Reșita and the city center, by widening the road in the area of the CFR bridge and by lowering the road level in this area, a solution that will remove the transit ban for vehicles with a greater height. Pedestrian mobility will also be improved, by setting up sidewalks in areas where the available width did not allow their creation before. According to the contract, the works on this street have the deadline of June.
