There were large-scale raids by the traffic policemen from Bucharest and Ilfov! The agents applied more than 720 fines. The total value of the fines exceeds 235 thousand lei.

66 drivers remained pedestrians, most of them due to speed. Also, several drivers were caught drunk or drugged behind the wheel.

One of them was stopped after being caught driving at no less than 151 km/h.

“As part of the activities carried out, the traffic policemen from Ilfov and the policemen of the Road Brigade applied a total of 722 contraventional sanctions, according to GEO 195/2002, with fines in the amount of approximately 237,930 lei, of which 394 sanctions were for non-compliance with the legal speed regime .

Also, the police officers of the two structures detained 66 driving licenses, of which 45 for excessive speed, withdrew 13 registration certificates and found 16 road traffic offences, of which 8 were for drinking while driving and 3 for consumption of psychoactive substances while driving.

Therefore, during the activities, both the traffic policemen from Ilfov and the policemen of the Road Brigade detected three drivers, two in Ilfov county and one in Bucharest, for whom the equipment devices indicated indications of the possible presence of a psychoactive substance in the body.

One of the two men, detected in Ilfov, was tested with the device provided, after the car he was driving was recorded by the radar device, driving at a speed of 151 km/h on a stretch of road, where the maximum speed limit is 80 km/h

The three men were taken to the hospital for the collection of biological samples.

Also, two drivers were involved in two road incidents, one in the town of Jilava in Ilfov county, and another in Bucharest.

The two men were tested with breathalyzers, which indicated the value of 1.18 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air for the man from Ilfov county, and the value of 1.31 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air for the man from Bucharest.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital, for taking biological samples.

Criminal prosecution files were opened in all five cases.

And for other drivers from Bucharest, the breathalyzers indicated values ​​of over 0.41 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air.

And in these cases, criminal investigation files were opened.

Two drivers were found driving without a license and 2 other drivers were found driving with a suspended license.

Also, when checking a person in the e-DAC application, the police from Măgurele found that, on the name of the respective man, the Tulcea Court issued on March 19 this year, a warrant for the execution of the prison sentence, the 64-year-old man, being sentenced to 12 years and 4 months in prison, for committing the crime of tax evasion.

The traffic policemen from Ilfov and the policemen of the Road Brigade recommend to the traffic participants not to get behind the wheel if they have consumed alcohol and/or psychoactive substances, nor to press the accelerator pedal, more than the law allows”, it is stated in the IPJ Ilfov press release.
