Remus Truică, Adrian Năstase’s former chief of staff, is currently incarcerated in the Jilava penitentiary where he is serving the 7-year sentence received in the “Băneasa Farm” case. A few years ago, the millionaire made himself known for his extravagant lifestyle. Among the properties owned by Truica, a sumptuous villa that he owns in Snagov stands out. The house dominates the landscape of the area by its size but also by its exclusive facilities.

Remus Truică is one of the most controversial politicians in our country, but also a prosperous businessman. With a fortune estimated in 2015 at no less than 10 million euros, he was noted for his extravagant lifestyle.

The biggest villa in Snagov belongs to Remus Truica. The luxury facilities of the building

Since December 2020, Remus Truică has been incarcerated in the Jilava penitentiary, where he is serving a 7-year sentence, received in the “Băneasa Farm” file.

Before he was convicted, Truica owned an impressive fortune, which included several luxury properties. Of these, however, the villa that the businessman owns in Snagov stands out.

Truică’s estate stretches over 15 hectares of land, located right at the edge of the forest and overlooking Lake Snagov. The villa has three levels and is the largest in this area. The building benefits from exclusive facilities, including two huge sports fields, a helipad and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. In addition, Truica’s palace is equipped with an intelligent, fully computerized heating system. Also, a huge children’s park, a picnic gazebo and a huge pontoon equipped with rigging boats complete the stunning landscape of the estate. The interior of the villa is not inferior either. The house has a library spread over two floors, furnished in the style of Louis XVI and containing thousands of princeps editions, all in French.

Later, in 2017, the businessman paid no less than 2 million euros for one of the most beautiful villas in the Dorobanti area, in Bucharest. In the last years before being imprisoned, Remus Truică lived in the house in Dorobanti with his life partner and four children.
