FCSB is the new champion of Romania. The group coached by Elias Charalambous won the dispute with Farul on the National Arena, score 2-1, and secured the title from a mathematical point of view, in stage number 7 of the Romanian SuperLiga play-off.

FCSB gets its revenge against Farului and wins the title
The wait is over.
After 9 years of waiting, FCSB finally won the title of champion of Romania.
The team coached by Elias Charalambous needed a draw against the champion Farul Constanța, and the red-blue group, pushed from behind by the approximately 30,000 spectators present at the National Arena, achieved victory.
After a timid start to the match from both teams, Darius Olaru invented an excellent pass, the ball reached David Miculescu, and he beat Buzbuchi (min 26).
Octavian Popescu could increase the home team’s advantage, but FCSB’s winger was blocked by Buzbuchi.
In the second half, FCSB’s dominance increased, as they had opportunities to score.
However, the hosts did not have a peaceful end to the match. Louis Munteanu sent an excellent cross for Rivaldinho, and the Brazilian executed Târnovanu with an excellent header (min 79).
Alexandru Băluță established the final score of the game in the 84th minute, after scoring from the edge of the 6-meter box.
