“Open Streets, Bucharest – Urban Promenade” returns this weekend on Calea Victoriei. In addition, for the first time this year, the program extends to Drumul Taberei (between Valea Ialomiței street and Valea Argeșului street) and welcomes the citizens of Bucharest to an attractive artistic program: sports activities, theater shows for the little ones, acrobatics, parades , musical-humorous events, interactive readings from classic plays and live concerts with renowned artists and orchestras, such as Irina Sârbu and Angely’s Fanfara.

“Open Streets” Program – Camp Road:

  • 11:00 – 21:00: Sports activities – basketball and football court
  • 11:00 – 20:00: Caricatures – Vasile Catrina
  • 14:00 – 14:30: Magic show (Comic Opera for Children)
  • 15:00 – 15:50: Rolling Strings Puppet Show – animated theater show for children
  • 15:00 – 16:00: “Laughter therapy” – musical-humorous show with Adrian Fetecău, Petru Sandu, Ovidiu Mihăilescu, Jean Lemne, Florin Nan, Daniel Torje, Andrei Necula, Silviu Filip (VOUĂ Theater Company)
  • 16:00 – 19:00: Balloon modeling activities for children
  • 16:30 – 18:00: “A stormy night” – interactive performance-reading with actors Mihai Baranga (Jupân Dumitrache), Mihai Căpățînă (Nae Ipingescu), Cristi Toma (Chiriac), Cristian Măciucă (Spiridon), Andrei Vasilescu (Rica Venturiano), Alina Berzunțeanu (Zita), Mihaela Mihăescu (Veta) (Eyes of the Mind)

Road traffic on Calea Victoriei is interrupted during the day and resumes during the night until the morning (from Saturday to Sunday), starting from 23:00 until 09:00.

For the safety of the participants in the event, the bicycle lanes are also closed on the roads where cars no longer travel.

In sector 6 of the Capital, starting from Saturday, April 27, at 7:00 a.m., until Monday, April 29, at 02:00 a.m. (maximum), traffic will be restricted on Drumul Taberei Boulevard, the road segment bounded by the intersections with Valea Street Ialomiței and Valea Argeșului street, in both directions.
