The local authorities in the Turburea commune have started to repair the tarla roads in the locality and hope that the villagers will maintain them and drive carefully on them, especially with agricultural machinery. Mayor Ion Bârcă appeals to citizens to respect this, so that he does not have to end up guarding them.

The modernization of tarla roads, in Turburea commune, is done with money from the local budget. So far, the amount of 140,000 has been allocated, money with which six kilometers of such roads have been rebuilt.

“We also had to restore these tarla roads that don’t tell you what condition they were in anymore. We didn’t pave them, but we paved them, we compacted them so that they can be driven in good conditions. Now it’s the turn of the citizens to understand that they have to maintain them, in the sense that they can’t go out with the plows from the lands directly on them, or to enjoy with the ATVs and do I don’t know what schemes there. These roads were nothing but dust, and if we managed to make them they must be maintained. I don’t want to call the police and issue fines. I think I would need more than 25 local policemen to guard the roads of the fields and the forest”, declared Ion Bârca.

In Turburea commune, another 10 kilometers of tarla roads should be improved.
