Cosmin Mladin, the alleged head of the cigarette traffickers in Arad, was caught driving drunk. He was driving his famous red car around the city, which 3 years ago was confiscated by DIICOT in a cigarette trafficking case. Later, the car worth several hundred thousand euros was returned to him, and now the police caught the man under the influence of drugs behind the wheel of the same car.

Cosmin Mladin, the alleged head of the cigarette traffickers in Arad, was caught drugged with cocaine while driving. He was driving, in broad daylight, through the city the famous red Ferrari, which the prosecutors from DIICOT Bucharest confiscated, three years ago, after the descents made in Arad, in a case of smuggling cigarettes.

He was then remanded in custody, then placed under house arrest and then released, with no further action taken against him, although at the time the investigation had been closely supervised by the head of the IGPR himself and 157 searches had been carried out. Including the car worth hundreds of thousands of euros was returned to him. At the wheel of this car, he was stopped by the police of the Arad traffic office.

Mladin refused to take a drug test, so the agents took him to the hospital for blood and urine samples. The result, which came this afternoon, confirmed that the alleged leader of the cigarette traffickers had consumed cocaine. His driver’s license will be suspended until the court files a final sentence.
