Traffic on Uliului street in Cluj-Napoca was closed, following the landslides reported in the last two days.

Initially, the representatives of the City Hall tried to seal the cracks that appeared, in order to avoid the infiltration of water resulting from the rains.

However, the measure did not yield results.

Later, road traffic was limited to a maximum weight of 2 t, the street being properly signposted.

The local police ensured the enforcement of the decision.

Landslides continued on the night of Friday, April 26, which is why the Local Committee for Emergency Situations was convened.

Within this, a total ban on road traffic was established on Uliului street, on the section affected by landslides.

Until the road is restored, temporary traffic routes will be identified and set up, and RADP will take care of their realization.
