The new hypermarket has a sales area of ​​approximately 6,000 square meters and its opening generated 140 new jobs.

The new store offers a wide range of food products: seasonal vegetables from small, medium and large local and regional farmers, fresh, local products such as Romanian strawberries, lettuce, green onions, radishes, nettles, spinach, asparagus, new cabbage , bakery products, sweets and confectionery, cheeses and organic products, etc.

Carrefour recently acquired the operations of Romania Hypermarche SA. Thus, the retailer reaches approximately 450 stores, in 113 cities in the country and is among the top three players on the Romanian retail market, with over 17,000 employees.

Carrefour Romania operates in the local market through five legal entities: Carrefour SA, Artima SA, Columbus Operational SRL, Supeco Investment SRL and, from November 2023, Romania Hypermarche SA
