The EGTC is a European legal instrument, made up of European public entities, designed to facilitate and promote cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation. EGTC “Middle Danube” is an open structure, based on the recognition of partnership, principles, statute, signed documents, organizational structures. Based on these principles, other regional partners can later join the establishment of this associative structure. The future members of the EGTC “Middle Danube” are as follows: from Romania: UAT Dolj County, UAT Gorj County, UAT Mehedinți County, UAT Olt County, UAT Vâlcea County, UAT Craiova Municipality, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dolj, ADR South-West Oltenia, Craiova International Airport; from Bulgaria: Vidin District, Vratsa Municipality, Vidin Municipality, Pleven Municipality, Belogradchik Municipality.
