Romanian transport app Star Taxi is expanding to four more cities, according to an announcement made on Wednesday.
Transport services through the application become available in Arad, Craiova, Galați and Timișoara, according to a statement sent to StartupCafe.ro. In total, the Star Taxi application is available in over 25 cities in Romania.
Users have the opportunity to select the desired payment option – card, cash or the corporate option, through the Star Taxi Corporate service dedicated to companies, through which they can provide paid transport to employees.
The app currently enrolls more than 25,000 taxi drivers nationwide and has more than 3.5 million downloads from Google Play or the App Store.
“We are expanding our services in 4 new important cities in the country, and the evolution continues. We will offer Star Taxi users the same transparent costs, without dynamic rates, providing them with the nearest car, in the shortest time, as well as the corporate option dedicated to companies, for the settlement of employee transport” said Vicol Moldoveanu, CEO of Star Taxi.
The average Star Taxi driver rating is over 4.85, with a ride honesty percentage of over 90%. They are constantly monitored as their rating changes and can be kicked out if they don’t improve their services, the app claims.
