VIDEO: New steps for the establishment of the Vrancea Industrial Park

The Vrancea County Council continues the steps to implement the investment project “Construire Industrial Park Vrancea”. In this sense, the plenary session of the County Council met yesterday in an extraordinary session, having on the agenda two draft decisions concerning the investment mentioned above, These are the draft decisions: “Approving the conclusion of the protocol between the National Administration “Romanian Waters” through the Administration Siret Water Basin and the Vrancea County Administrative – Territorial Unit through the Vrancea County Council in order to achieve the investment objective “Construction Vrancea Industrial Park”; “Establishment of the right of surface, use and servitude free of charge over the land with an area of ​​582.0 m2 in favor of Distribuție Energie Electrică România SA – Focșani Branch, related to the investment objective “Construire Industrial Park Vrancea”.

The Vrancea Industrial Park obtained the status of main member within the Association of Industrial, Technological, Scientific Parks and Business Incubators from Romania (APITSIAR). It is a large and complex project, to be built on a 47-hectare plot of land located within the radius of Garoafa commune, with an exit at DN 2 E85. Currently, the Vrancea County Council has obtained the title of Industrial Park from the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration, all documentation at the level of Zonal Urban Plan and Feasibility Study is being developed, including all the approvals for utilities. The file for the construction of the Industrial Park is being prepared for submission for financing from European funds, within the Regional Program, a call to be launched this spring.

Inside the Industrial Park, the following functional areas are proposed: Logistics Area; Large Industry Zone; Area for Medium Industry; Light Industry Zone; Area for Industrial Workshops; Area for Institutions and services, trade; Administrative area; Technical-building area.

Steps have been taken to ensure all the necessary utilities: sewerage and water are provided through the project to expand these utilities in Garoafa commune, for electricity, the connection approval was obtained on 22.09.2023, based on the connection study, and at the natural gas system of the Park is to be connected within the project submitted by the Garoafa Municipality. Access to the Industrial Park will be achieved through a roundabout on E85, according to the CNAIR opinion dated 04/24/2023. The park will also include a parking lot with 80 spaces for shooting and 300 spaces for vehicles. Last but not least, the economic operators that will set up in the Park will benefit from fiscal facilities according to the legislation in force, as well as state aid through de minimis schemes.

The creation of an industrial park in Vrancea county represents one of the main ways to develop the county’s economy, by attracting and stimulating private investments, which will contribute to the creation of new jobs and the development of infrastructure. The estimated value of the investment is 46 million euros.
