Economica.net – Greenfield Road – PMB will request the removal of 0.3 hectares from the forest fund, to ensure access to the neighborhood on the edge of Bucharest

--

The respective land is currently in the public ownership of the state and is administered by the Ilfov Forestry Directorate. This land represents the third parcel needed to allow the opening of the road to Greenfield, after the General Council requested two other forest roads from the Government, writes Agerpres.

The road of local interest will ensure temporary access, for a period of five years, to the buildings between Teişani Avenue and Pădurea Pustnicu Road. After the takeover, the transfer of the land from the public domain to the private domain of the Municipality of Bucharest is prohibited, the draft stipulates.

In the approval report, it is recalled that at the beginning of April, the General Council of the Capital approved a decision by which it asked the Government to definitively hand over, free of charge, two forest roads from the Băneasa Forest to the administration of the Municipality, in order to temporarily ensure access to the Greenfield. If the Government approves the transfer, the two road segments will be open to traffic and provide temporary access, for a period of five years, between Teișani Avenue and Pădurea Pustnicu Road.

On the other hand, up to the Greenfield neighborhood there is still a portion of land, with an area of 3009 square meters, which is the object of the project listed on the agenda of Monday’s meeting of the CGMB.
