Sibiu, among the top 10 cities in the country where more postal products are ordered. 25% increase in herbal products

The people of Bucharest, along with the people of Cluj and Brasov, prefer fast products the most during this period, and the people of Sibiu follow in this ranking after cities such as Târgu Mureș, Constanța, Iași and Bacău, according to a study carried out by Glovo.ro, based on orders from this period.

“Vegan food, without meat, is increasingly sought after, Romania being in second place, globally, in terms of the consumption of vegan products, of the 25 countries in which Glovo operates, after Spain. At the same time, vegan cakes, burgers and nuggets remain at the top of Glovo’s orders in this category. Orders of vegan dishes increased in 2023 by more than 8% compared to 2022, 77% of them coming from restaurants, while 23% are orders placed from the supermarket,” the analysis states.

The Easter fast ends this year on May 4.

During the Easter fast, Orthodox Christians, according to custom, adopt a spiritual attitude, pray and cleanse their souls, but they also do not consume foods such as: meat, cheese, eggs, milk and fish. In general, during the fast there are also fish holidays, days when those fasting are allowed to eat fish dishes.
