Two people were detained for high-risk drug trafficking by the Craiova Organized Crime Brigade.
The two people, who are part of the same family, are being investigated for high-risk drug trafficking, in continued form.
Between January 2023 and April 2024, the individuals would have procured, possessed, stored and sold different quantities of cannabis (risk drug) to consumers in Dolj county.
Following the home search, the following were discovered and seized:
- cannabis seeds,
- a precision scale bearing traces of substance,
- other means of proof.
Yesterday, DIICOT prosecutors – Craiova Territorial Service ordered the detention of two people for 24 hours.
Today, the rights and freedoms judge of the Dolj Court was notified, with the proposal of preventive arrest for 30 days.
Specialized support was provided by the Special Operations Directorate of the Romanian Police. The action benefited from the support of the gendarmes of the Craiova Mobile Gendarme Group.
