Political leader: Things will go “worse and worse” at CE Oltenia

--

Coal energy represented, on Tuesday, only 12.07% in the national energy system, being delivered around 800 megawatts.

The Oltenia Energy Complex operates with only two groups at the Rovinari Thermal Power Plant, Turceniul and Ișalnița being shut down.

The president of the Gorj Popular Movement, Nicolae Davițoiu, is convinced that things will go “worse and worse” at the Oltenia Energy Complex.

In his opinion, the Turceni Thermal Power Plant will not be started until the end of the electoral campaign.

Nicolae Davițoiu does not think that CE Oltenia will be advantaged even by the entry into revision of the group from Cernavodă. The PMP county councilor found that the weather also disadvantages CEO, being favored green energy producers during this period.

“In my opinion, things will go worse and worse, because Sebastian Burduja will be involved in the election campaign for Bucharest City Hall. After the elections on June 9, the summer vacation begins, as well as the parliamentary one. (…) It is hard to believe that from the governmental point of view there is any concern for the Oltenia Energy Complex. The weather is putting the CEO at a disadvantage at the moment. The recent rains are increasing the hydropower production capacity. I don’t think that until the election campaign is over, the groups from Turceni will be restarted and produce something. (…) I don’t think it will be any advantage for the CEO that a group from Cernavodă will enter the revision, because the summer period will come when the photovoltaic panels and wind power plants will produce quite a lot of energy”, says Nicolae Davițoiu.
