On the golf course of Theodora Golf Club, from Ciugud, approximately 2000 students will arrive these days. It is about an action that those at the largest golf course in Romania do annually.
An initiative that takes place during the “Different Week”, where students do other activities than school ones.
In 2024, approximately 2000 students from Alba Iulia, Teiuș, Abrud, Sebeș, Blaj and Vințu de Jos signed up for a golf lesson at Theodora Golf Club, who will experience a day spent on the largest golf course in Romania, during the “Altfel Week”.
The activity takes place in the Driving Range area.
Students have the opportunity to learn some basic golf moves, to hit the balls with the clubs, but above all to enjoy an oasis of green and fresh air.
On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, several primary school students from Alba Iulia were present on the golf course.

The instructors showed them some basic moves and the little ones had the opportunity to hit the golf balls.
They automatically collected them from the field, this fact being an activity in itself. They didn’t take into account that the grass was wet and quickly ran towards the field to collect the balls.
“In this way we ensure our continuity and we really want to be involved both in the life around us, in the community and at the national level. We are always open and welcome everyone who wants to cross our threshold, and now we had the perfect opportunity in the green school. Children have the perfect opportunity to learn the secrets of this game”, said Debora Vesa, restort manager at Theodora Golf Club.
