The German police officers carried out four house searches and executed four arrest warrants on April 23, as part of a criminal embezzlement case. The actions revealed a damage of over 1 million lei and led to the arrest of two men.
Police investigations revealed that a 32-year-old man from Piatra-Neamț, an employee of a commercial company, allegedly stole goods from the company’s assets (tires), during the period from September 2022 to October 2023.

By falsifying the fiscal delivery documents, the goods were sent to companies controlled by two accomplices, aged 29 and 50, from Roman.
In addition, it was discovered that prior to these facts, the main suspect had established a criminal scheme whereby he delivered the goods without payment or partial payment. The purpose of this scheme was to allow new orders to be placed without attracting attention.
The estimated damage following this illegal activity is 1,029,000 lei.

On April 23 of this year, the police officers from the Neamț Economic Crime Investigation Service executed a number of four home search warrants and four arrest warrants, within a criminal file in which investigations are being carried out under the aspect of committing the crime of embezzlement.
Following the investigations carried out by the police, it was found that, between September 2022 and October 2023, a 32-year-old man from Piatra-Neamț, as an employee of a commercial company, would have appropriated from its patrimony more goods, namely tires.
He would have drawn up false fiscal documents for the delivery of the goods, in fact the goods were delivered to commercial companies controlled by two persons, aged 29 and 50, respectively, both from Roman.
At the same time, following the expansion of the investigations, it was established that the 32-year-old man, prior to the aforementioned, had created a criminal scheme for the embezzlement of the company where he was employed, by issuing fiscal documents for the delivery of goods to controlled commercial companies by the two suspects, establishing with them that the goods should not be paid, or be partially paid, in order to have the possibility of placing more orders.
The damage caused by the criminal activity is 1,029,000 lei.
In order to recover the damage, precautionary measures were instituted by seizing a car, worth approximately 75,000 lei, and a building (land + house) worth approximately 380,000 lei.
The 32-year-old man and the 29-year-old man were detained for 24 hours, as they are being investigated for embezzlement crimes, respectively complicity in embezzlement crimes.
