PSD deputy Gheorghe Șoldan, the PSD candidate for the position of president of the Suceava County Council, had a meeting in Baia with the residents of the commune alongside the mayor Maria Tomescu, the doctor who made the commune of Baia good and who in just two mandates attracted investments of over 30 millions of euros for his community.

Șoldan said that the activity of the mayor Maria Tomescu is all the more appreciated in the conditions in which for the management of the Suceava County Council the locality of Baia does not exist, and Maria Tomescu’s requests for support in various projects for the inhabitants of the commune, of the county after all, were ignored.

“People break their cars on the county road that connects Baia de Bogata, and the potholes are covered with gravel once in I don’t know how long. All this because the mayor elected by the people, with approximately 85% of the votes, does not have the same political color as the president Gheorghe Flutur. A president who keeps bragging about a county “furrowed by highways”, when we still have hundreds of kilometers of non-modernized county roads”, said Șoldan.

The social-democratic deputy reminded that the A7 Pașcani-Siret highway was approved by the Marcel Ciolacu Government and will indeed be built, just like the bypass from Gura Humorului, but that these are not Gheorghe Flutur’s investments, but of the PSD government.

“I ask the residents of Baia commune to be with me on June 9, as they are with their mayor. Maria Tomescu is a model for me. I learned a lot from the mayor and I am proud to have her on my team. I will not ignore Baia commune and will never separate the county into two. Because the development of the county means the development of each locality”, concluded Gheorghe Șoldan.
